We are looking for a Marketing Intern to join our team and lead initiatives in cold outreach automation, social media engagement, and strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate is a driven, creative, and resourceful individual passionate about building scalable systems and delivering measurable results.
This is an early-hire role at a pre-seed startup. Initial 6 months of compensation will be equity only. One must have a deep belief in our project, market, and team in order to apply.
Responsibilities
1. Outreach Automation and Sales Enablement
- Design and implement a cold sales outreach system targeting potential buyers (product managers, researchers, etc.) for our $1k/month market research platform.
- Develop workflows to identify and engage with prospective buyers, analyze their product portfolios, and craft personalized messaging.
- Automate report generation from our platform to demonstrate value and invite users to join our platform/Discord community.
- Track and analyze outreach performance, with a focus on booking demo meetings (measured by meetings scheduled per week).
2. Partnership Development
- Identify and establish partnerships with complementary organizations and individuals to expand our reach and influence.
- Assist in organizing and promoting joint events, case studies, and other collaborative efforts.
3. Back Office Marketing Optimization
- Research and recommend tools for improving marketing efficiency, such as a Customer Data Platform (CDP).
- Assist in implementing and integrating tools to improve data targeting and reduce CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost).
- Ensure seamless alignment between marketing and sales initiatives for maximum impact.
Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related fields.
- Familiarity with sales outreach tools, marketing automation platforms, and social media management tools (e.g., Planable, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
- Strong analytical skills and experience with tracking metrics and performance.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Interest in market research and a passion for startups is a plus.
What Success Looks Like
- Primary Metric: Number of demo meetings scheduled per week.
- Outreach System: A functional and automated cold outreach system in place within three months, achieving at least five demo meetings scheduled per day.
- Content Metrics: Increased engagement on LinkedIn and other platforms, driving inbound leads and improving CAC by 20% within six months.
- Partnership Impact: Established partnerships that directly contribute to increased platform usage and visibility.
